Just starting to enter into category of products.
Got 2 solid products in a large category.
Been re reading and haven't found a clear answer on this.
I've only been selling on ebay, I need to start a store soon.
I read in Bios AMA thread to make multiple stores for 1 product each to rank better in google for that keyword.
But that doesn't make sense for building a brand for a lot of different products.
I'm not sure how to word my question, ill use Zappos as an example.
Zappos is the brand, the word Zappos is a made up name having nothing to do with shoes.
Based on what I read, it would have been better to make the domain name "luxurydressshoes.com"
And only sell dress shoes on that one site, then make another "sportsshoes.com" and only sell sports shoes on that site.
First question: Isn't it better to start to build a brand like Zappos, but how does zappos rank for keywords since there are no keywords in the domain name?
Also, I remember reading somewhere saying that learning SEO in 2014 is pointless now, true? Thanks for any responses.
