I know some of you are just itching to create your own websites but may a bit unsure where to start.
First off download a program called notepad++ so you can test your codes.
Notepad++ | 5.8.5
XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start.
apache friends - xampp
Tizag.com - Tizag was designed to teach beginner web programmers how to use HTML and CSS. They have written tutorials with examples and I used this website to familiarize myself with some functions I was studying. Great website to bookmark for references.
w3schools.com - At w3schools.com you will learn how to make a website. We offer free tutorials in all web development technologies. Similar to Tizag, you may or may not like it more. I recommend reading the tutorials on both sites over and over. They are written and worded differently which will help you retain the information better.
YouTube - thenewboston's Channel - For those who enjoy video tutorials no one I know of offers such great step by step video instruction than this guy. You can learn the essentials to programming dynamic websites and video games by watching his videos. Definitely check his youtube page and website out!
Computer Science | Video Courses on Academic Earth - Academic Earth provides entire semesters of video recordings from the most prestigious colleges in the world. Ever wondered what it would be like to obtain a computer science degree from Standford or MIT? Well you get a birds eye view through these videos. These
videos really help fill in the blanks.
I recommend studying the terms html, php, java, apache and mysql.
Good luck and be persistent!

THE BEST WAY TO LEARN IS TO TEST THE CODES AS YOU STUDY. Repeat each lesson multiple times and consistently.
Make sure you have notepad++ and xampp (or similar programs) before you start.
