Hello fastlaners,
I may be selling my home soon and as bad as I want to buy a big boat, I know that instead I should follow my fastlane path. I've done extensive research and have found a niche I believe will explode. There's high demand in the US and it's currently illegal to export this product outside of the country it's produced in. It's only made it's way to the US in underground channels but there's a huge following and it takes a lot of hoops to jump through to get this software. If a US company started making this product it WILL explode.
My main obstacle is since I can't import this product, which initially I wanted to stop there, but now believe this is a good thing because it's what's put up this barrier of entry in the first place creating a need to be filled, is that I would need to start a software company and develop the product myself.
Does anyone have any tips/suggestions as to were to start? I may have around 30-50k at my disposal, would this be enough?
I know about upwork.com but want to be sure I hire some good coders as that can make or break this, so I have no clue how much this would require to start.
