Temporarily, I lack web developement skills. I am computer savvy as far as general usage is concerned, but since I grew up with computers, I can learn new skills fast.
To get to the point, I was wondering what you veterans thought about tools and programs out there for building websites that don't require web skills.
FOr instance, I was looking at Site Built It which basically offers you the structure of getting a website off the ground, while you focus on making the content for it. No coding required.
The most experience I have had was creating sales landing pages using premade templates in my brief affiliate marketing venture a long time ago.
At the moment I have written a handful of articles for a website I want to develope. I have begun learning about some basic SEO principles and theories on traffic building. I'm just not sure whats the best route to take when it comes to actually getting the website developed. SHould I use user friendly programs, such as Site Build It, to design websites or should I hire someone? Or should I learn to code?
As far as what I'm trying to accomplish, I want to develope a heavy high content and value website and eventually monetize that through adsense and affialte marketing. But the goal, obviously is to get massive traffic first.
And as far as what the content is, it'll be mostly about dating, relationships, and personal developement. I feel like whats out there is a bunch of scam artists trying to sell you regurgitated false crap. I don't see a genuine content website out there that actually tries to help people without trying to sell you shit. I also know the demand is great, I can type any permutation of "dating advice" and it'll draw tens of millions of searches.
