This prompting brought me back into the book by Harry Dent discussing that the United States currently isn't in a depression, but actually in a demographic shift representative of the Baby Boomer's retiring and that the economic climate will continue as follows until 2019 when birth rates rebound. So with America CLEARLY falling behind in many areas economically, and the primary growth drivers with burgeoning middle classes being Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC), which country would you start your FL internet plan in?
Brazil with the upcoming events (World Cup, etc.) is very attractive however the entrepreneurial barriers are significant. Very challenging to incorporate and banking can be difficult. Research has said that it can take up to a year to get the corp and banking.
Russia, I'd love someone with experience to weigh in here
India, Firsthand experience would be great. Certainly highly educated, and inexpensive labor pool makes it a great resource for fulfillment of a US business, but how about the prospect of starting a business in India?
China, would love some firsthand insights here as well...
Given the broad availability of translation software, skype, etc. the globe is a great playground, however researching the host country is key and I'd love some of the International FL'ers to weigh in...
