We had a conversation with @Kak on some of the best products/brands that can last you a lifetime (as opposed to most low-quality mass-produced stuff these days). We decided to post it on the forum and ask about your favorites, too.

Here are @Kak's picks:

Couple of things I have really been impressed with quality wise.

-Cast iron cookware, pretty much any brand.

-JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker.

- Leatherman products

- Sako watches

- Glocks (haha)

- Bosca leather stuff

- Dewalt tools

So much throwaway garbage circulating these days. It pisses me off so bad spending money on stuff for it to shit out in a year.

My only exception is sunglasses. I can’t get a pair of anything to last a year without scratches. So I buy cheap.

Pretty much all shoes suck now. Lol

iPads last a really long time.

Weber charcoal grills

Dyson vacuums are pretty good

Toyota best

Jeep serviceable forever

Chevy decent mix of serviceable quality

I have had a webbing belt from 5.11 for like 15 years and still like it

Sonicare toothbrushes. I think I’ve had mine for 10 years or longer

Some of my stuff:

1. A few months ago I bought Scanpan frying pans. What a huge difference compared to your average shitty frying pan. It requires almost no oil and still looks like new after a few months of using it.

I've had a Forester for 7 years already and I've never had any big issues with it. Still going strong with over 120,000 km of mileage. It looks terribly archaic inside but nothing breaks.

3. Dell

I've been buying Dells for many, many years. Each laptop easily lasts a few years and usually I replace it just to get new tech and a new warranty.

4. Dr. Bronner's

Perhaps a different category but still, it's the best F*cking soap there is haha. Lasts a super long time, has multiple uses, and has no shit inside.

I bought their gaming laptop its build quality and features are amazing

Two wheeler brand from India . Our vehicle has been working after 13 years .
We are not the exception it's the norm with this brand .
