Any recommendations on good places to learn on buying businesses?
Thinking the $200k - 1m sale price businesses where most of their opportunities are no marketing in place.
I totally get finding marketing opportunities and growing them, but interested to learn more about:
- Sourcing deals outside of brokers
- How to leverage business assets for financing (in Canada) or negotiate good terms so cashflow covers debt
- Any good resources on operating playbook building that can be market agnostic
I know at a high-level elements are covered in Dan Pena's book, but he doesn't really dive into the specifics of sourcing or leveraging financing.
