Today I was at my orientation in college. The lecturers kept yammering about the importance of grades and scholarships for success in life, for a job that you cannot control.
WTF......
If you could use a job to give you experience, that's fine. Study, get a job, get the experience and start out. But then most jobs require prior experience...and you are competing with more graduates....
And grades are useless already. A cousin of mine went to Italy for her Masters and is now working a bloody hell job as an architect, finding no time to procreate with her hubby.
True wealth cannot be acquired by sacrificing time. We weaponize time via Fastlane systems to get wealth, damnit!
What's wrong with academicians? Scholarships tie you to educational servitude. No time to try to break out of slowlane...got to study like fk. Poor kids need them to get jobs, but I fear they will not be able to find financial freedom. Many people I know will end up in 9-5 jobs with wall-fulls of degrees, a broken family and bad health.
