CENTS: the Control commandment in relation to mobile apps

I just started reading into the contents of the CENTS framework and since my business idea is a mobile app, it immediately raised a question:

Since there are only 2 app stores in the world (the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store), aren't all mobile-app-based businesses in fact contradicting this commandment?

Many (not all, of course) apps are an absolutely essential part of the business, either because it is essential for the overall user experience or simply because the app IS the service - Uber being a good example of the former, Instagram of the latter.

You can of course always replace the app with a website if your app did happen to be banned from Apple/Google stores (for whatever reason; and it is not that unlikely to happen), but in today's world, that would be such a UX downgrade that it would probably equal bankrupcy and almost immediate replacement with competition anyway.
