Hey fellow fastlaners!
Right now me and my business partner are determined to change environment.
Reasons?
-We're living in a very small town in Sweden, NO movement and it almost feels like a ghost town
-We want to surround ourselves with successful/rich people, mentors and like-minded people
-It's a constant struggle to don't get dragged down by bad influence here
-The climate is really dark, cold and lots of snow/rain
-Labor regulations and the high taxes are no good for startups
-No daily inspiration/motivation from seeing others that have made it, or anything like that
The situation looks like this. We are working on a startup and are launching in about 2 months.
We have a successful business angel from South of France that has invested in the company, and are prepared to mentor us.
SO we are thinking about moving to South of France, looks like it has everything we are searching for AND how great would it not be to be close to a successful mentor?
The only challenge is the high cost of living in South of France... We have a slim budget on about 300 euro/month for a apartment or somewhere else to live. Yeah we know it is not much, but we are prepared to live on a existence minimum.
We have emailed our mentor, and we'll see if he has any solution or if he can help us someway.
What would you do, where would you live if you had a very small budget and wanted to live somewhere in an environment that is really good for entrepreneurs?
By the way, we are also thinking of Germany and UK. Someone has any experience from living in south of france or any of the other places mentioned? Or any better suggestion?
