Hey guys,

Some of you may have read my process thread, or may have seen my posts (about e commerce and online stores), and I have been sticking to these plans diligently--but I have come across another idea while I was on the bus today.

With the way technology is moving these days, it looks like headphones/earbuds/earphones for the iPod is starting to move towards a wireless solution. Although the idea has already been done by big companies like Apple, Bose, Logitech, etc, it still has yet to become mainstream, and the ones that are out on the market have received a lot of complaints with sound quality. I have an idea about the case that the ear buds could be stored in, so that way you wouldn't have to wrap up your headphones and risk tangling them. If you look around, a majority of people still use wired headphones.

I pitched the idea to a couple of friends, and they seem skeptical because the big boys have already done it. I know there is no need to reinvent the wheel and that you can always improve the idea, but is this market even worth it? Or is it overly saturated and not worth investing the amount of time in?

I thought maybe this would be a better alternative as opposed to marketing other people's products, because like MJ says, it's easier when you have your own product and let others market it for you.

What do you guys think? I just need a second opinion from fastlaners, as opposed to the 2 kids who told me I should just go get a job instead and be 'normal'.
