Hey guys,
I would like to know your favorite ressources that help you increase your website conversions. I'll start:
#1 Frank Kern - Mass Control 1 + 2
Well, I know, I know...Frank Kern is the most hated and most discussed person in the online marketing scene. But still: Mass Control has so much valueable content that you learn almost anything that helps you sell. It was a real game changer when it was released some years ago and broke all records. People say most of the content is 'stolen' from Dan Kennedy, who was Franks mentor. Nevertheless, I would recommend this product to anybody who wants to sell anything on the web.
The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau
This book was recently released and it felt half of the internet was talking about it for weeks. What seems like the next hype title for a book Chris doesn't waste any time to give readers on the point his best tips on marketing, selling and anything that improves your numbers. I hate using the term "good step by step guide", because I think anybody who believes in step by step guides for success will never make it, but this book is a really valueable 'step by step guide' that's easy to follow. An incredible source for action takers, 0% hype and self help crap, 100% tips for action.
Ca$hvertising by Drew Eric Whitman
and Ogilvy on Advertising by David Ogilvy
If you know absoluetly zero about advertising and copywriting I would recommend you to use those two books before using anything else. Ca$hvertising is probably loved by every second online entrepreneur and Ogilvy's book is the holy grail for the advertising industry. Both books will amaze you, as they both offer hundreds of 'secret' tips for your business.
12 Month Millionaire by Vincent James
There is a big chance you have never heard of this book / product before and if you have you'll know this guy has probably the most haters ever on the web. I have never witnessed so much hate for one author in the marketing scene like in Vincent James case. Why? Because his story is just NOT TO BELIEVE (check it here: video). But: Even if you don't believe in his story, even if you think he is full of crap, this book is AMAZING and you will learn a lot. I can understand people thinking self-help books like 'Think and grow rich' or 'The secret' are rubbish, because they are all about think positive and rule the world stuff, but this book doesn't contain this at all. The author talks about anything he has learned from a to z by selling his products - 100% pure marketing / sales tips, 0% self-help crap!
