I know, you’re probably tired of hearing about the coronavirus. It’s talked about everywhere.
But I want to talk about what I see in South Korea at the moment. A lot of people are riled up here because Chinese people have come to South Korea to purchase supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer. Some to end back to their family.
But a lot of them are simply buying out all the masks and hand sanitizers in the stores and pharmacy’s and reselling them at much, much higher prices. We’re talking about buying masks at a usual price of $1.25 ~ $3.00 and they’re now reselling it anywhere from $40 ~ $1,000 depending on the packaged amount.
From an entrepreneurial perspective, wow! They’re making money! But from an ethical human perspective, this is pretty f’d. This is the biggest rage at the moment, there not being supplies because people are buying and reselling them. In addition, the fact that they’re also coming to here just to use the cheaper medical system and buying out supplies is pissing people off.
I heard people are also doing this in Canada and the states.
