I am always researching local businesses in my area especially if they have been around a couple of decades and I ran across one in particular that started as a coupon clearinghouse years ago.
I dug a little deeper to find that these guys are about to move to new offices and the move alone will be 100m. So I researched how coupon clearinghouses worked and was quite surprised at the volume of business they do on basically trust because retailers trust them to count their redeemed coupons accurately https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...a=X&ei=poNPUdTuAoHq8wSE-YCIBA&ved=0CC8QvwUoAA and the clearing houses that do the counting get a percentage of the handling fee that the manufacturer pays back to the retailer.
We are talking millions of dollars per week for sorting and counting coupons. BTW the manufacturers even contract clearinghouses (many times in Mexico) to recount behind the first clearinghouses to keep everyone honest sometimes.
Does anyone have any experience in this field?
