I'm on a new project and I might be into something. But I'm reallly concerned about the taxes and other paperwork issues I will get into if I stay in my home country.
Basically the best solution for me to avoid excessive taxes would be creating a company in the US. Because anyone can create a company, unlike in Europe where you have to be a resident. I'm not talking about offshore. The point is that the LLC is really nice and you don't need a partner. Also, you don't have to worry about staying in the same country.
The problem is that you can't work for your own company if you don't have a work visa.
However, can you work for your US based company, but from abroad (paying taxes accordingly)?
I would pay company taxes in the US and personnal taxes in my country of residence (probably Ireland).
Is it possible? Do I need to open an office in my country of residence too (would break my plan)?
