Has anyone managed to create a blue ocean among red oceans?
This concept comes from the book "Blue Ocean Strategy" and is about differentiating your product so much that you are actually competing with nobody, since YOU are the entire niche/market.
I thought about this in the context of YouTube. In Italy, there's no such thing as self-improvement, and I was wondering whether it would be a wise move to try and actually CREATE that niche, and thus, be the first to create content such as @Valier's, Matt D'Avella's and so on.
I actually started a YouTube channel and already uploaded a video. But I'm just wondering whether anyone actually managed to do something like this: creating a market instead of joining an already established one.
