In the perfect world you would be able to set things up while maintaining your current way of life. It’s like can I have my cake and eat it too. Most people sit in limbo on most of their ideas trying to figure out how to start a business and at the same time keep their job. They hope this natural transition magically happens. When the side hustle pays as much as my real job then I’ll quit the job.
But, since you aren’t giving 100% of your mind towards the side business it will remain a side business. Unless you just hit the lottery or your shit goes viral your balancing act will keep you exactly that balanced. You have to think of the game like a see saw where it just ain’t no fun when two equal kats are sitting on both sides. The only way people have fun is if somehow you decide to touch the ground and jump up. Letting the momentum of the heavier side push you to new heights. No matter what you do in this game one side has to come down for another to come up.
This leads me to the point of this post and that is you have to decide. You have to decide if you are really a builder or a working slave. Slavery is just working to me and plenty of slaves live debt filled rewarding lives. They have a car they lease, a house they’ll never pay off and a job they say they love but can’t afford to lose. Whether I agree it with it or not they have decided that working is their lot in life. They aren’t going to try too many side hustles or any other business as they think it’s bound to fail. But, when it comes to people who want to be free they hesitate to make a decision. If they decided to just be free and make doing for self their whole lifestyle then they would get their freedom.
It’s funny to see the faces of people on a see saw as most of them are scared when they reach new heights. I guess it’s the same with the game as everyone wants to try it but few are willing to jump up to get it. No matter what you do in this game one side has to come down for another to come up.
