Good evening ladies and gents,

greetings from the ice cold Germany to the world. I've decided to take action and start a business NOW.

The thing that is on my mind, it the following:

Are there any downsides in having different names for my company and my trademark?
If I sell a tool under the name "monster" and my company is named "smart ideas ltd" or whatsoever, are there any downsides that I don't consider?

For me the benefits are the following

-act under company name and prepare launch without everyone knowing what I'm going to sell
-have the ability to produce different products under one company, no double books etc

Is there anything that I don't consider? Thanks in advance, have a successful day.
