Directly Indirect, Indefinitely...

I'm seeing a lot of this on the forum...

A commitment to "Fastlane" or entrepreneurship, but the commitment is directly indirect into other activities not directly related to business.

There’s action-faking, and action-taking.

Guess which one is which?

• Joe woke up at 5am.
• Took a cold shower.
• Meditated for 1 hour.
• Went to the gym for 1 hour.
• Joe came home and watched 2 hours of Huberman podcasts.
• Joe read 2 hours of business books.
• Joe meditated again.
• Joe posted 4 items of content on social media

TOTAL PROFIT: $0
TOTAL BUSINESS EXPERIENCE POINTS: 0

• Jill slept in and woke up at 12 pm.
• Jill called 10 people and emailed 100 her offer.
• Jill made one sale and earned $500.
• Jill finished at 1pm.

TOTAL PROFIT: $500
TOTAL BUSINESS EXPERIENCE POINTS: 1,000

Folks, while there is incredible value in meditating, cold showers, and hitting the gym, the fact is none of it DIRECTLY moves you closer to your first sale. You could argue INDIRECTLY, but what I see is most people are "directly indirect—indefinitely."

If you had to get at least an acknowledgment of your existence from the biggest customer of what you sell on the planet by the the end of July, could you?

What if your life literally depended on it? July 31st at midnight, no aknowledgement means you die. Could you now?

Would you spend your time cold showering and meditating?

OR

Would you spend your time dismantling the bureaucracy at X company and calling, emailing, and meeting everyone you could talk to?
