Hi all, this is my first post. Unfortunatelly English is not my primary language so sorry for language mistakes. Anyway I've just read Unscripted and I would like to open discussion about primary inclinations.
Generally I read a lot, inspired about a year ago by Slight Edge book. During last year I've read about 50 books on personal development and bussiness and motivation and stoicism and psychology. Most of them seemed like great books at first (like for example Robert from Havaii but later on most of them turned to be nice crap and self development porn. But I didn't settle and decided read more books to find the pattern and choose my life path (I'm turning 31 now, got WHF point turning 30s). So by comparing ideas from various books I was able to see what's right and what's wrong (to be honest I'm not sure about that yet so I'll not settle and still read).
So... recently I was a great fan of Robert Greene Mastery book, which I read twice. This book is about finding the life path. Robert wrote that you should follow your primary inclinations, be better and better on what you do, invest 10 000-20 000 hours into practice and >>>go to work<< to develope social intelligence. This advices seems to be counter to MJ THF and even more to Unscripted phylosophy, especially do what you love scam. I think now, if these two terms means >do what you love< and >follow your primary inclinations< are the same thing. First of all >do what you love< is based on your current interests, which are not real connected to your passion - if you like limousines - what is so passionate about it?. What is a primary inclination for entepreneur? Maybe to do great things, to be independent, to buy your time with the money, you've earned. So for them it doesn't matter what they love, because doing money is what they love, provide value is what they love. And the particular filed of their bussiness is just the way - how it could be done.
So if there will come wanteprenour to you and tell you - I love computer games, I want to make a studio to develope them by myself and I'll be rich. This is not the case, because loving computer games is not about desire - it's just passion, so no luck with that.
So in conclusion - the best entepreneurs are just like MJ - >F*ck you< people. Who want to be independent and they value their time most, they don't care how they will pave the path to independece. And - I think that they are - unfortunatelly fear/social fear driven.
