I know the short answer i'm going to get is probably "no don't worry about them", but i'm finding it incredibly difficult to not worry at the moment.
I'm setting up my company in a very small niche. There is a total of 4 companies in this niche, and 2 of them aren't that well know or highly rate. The other two are major players. Its quite easy to keep track of what each company is doing but i always worry about them releasing new products. For them it doesn't take very long to design, develop and engineer a new product as they already have existing connections with manufacturers, and they have a team of engineers working for them. For me its a very different story, there is only me. Its going to take me a lot longer to get a product thats ready to launch. I get nervous when i see updates from these companies about there new products because I feel like its going to set me back a few steps as I need to know go back to the drawing board and develop something better.
It can't be just me that worries like this, surely? I know a few people may have started off like that but as time went on they stopped to worry, i'm reaching out to those that no longer worry for advice. How did you deal with these feelings? I don't want these feelings to get in the way of business and stop me from achievement my goals, but sometimes i think that they will if I don't overcome them.
