Hi Everybody,
I'm a beginner in terms of web designing. I am trying to put together a site at the moment using one of the free web builders out there. I have used Webs.com and Wix.com mostly. I just wanted to get opinions on these products and others like them. Are there better routes to go for beginners?
What I'm trying to do is fairly simple. The idea I have focuses on individuals in the generation Y age group. I will be providing links to various news articles, blogs, and other areas of interest. I will not be providing any of my own content. It will strictly be links. The idea I have is based sort of on the Drudge Report, but I wanted it to be slightly more sophisticated. The site will be geared toward an important topic of interest to this age group with the idea of it being a "one stop shop." The end goal would be to sell ad space, however I plan on using Ad Sense and other services (focusing on Cost per Impression).
As you can tell by my post count, I'm very new here. I would just appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks,
Dave
