Hey fastlaners, this is my first post. Iv'e been getting on these forums for the past month, and love how I have the same mindset as you all! Anyways, I'm currently 18 years old (19 in 2 months) and i'm getting my real estate license within the month. My current plan is to learn the ins and outs of selling houses as a real estate agent and then open up my own Real Estate Brokerage at age 21 or 22. I will save around 60k in the next couple years so I'll be able to open up the brokerage. Another good thing about all this is my mom is a successful real estate agent and can help teach me the basics of being a good real estate agent and how everything works in the business. I plan on using all this knowledge, and gain contacts in the real estate business, to ultimately benefit my future real estate brokerage. Does this sound like a good idea? What do you all think?
