Why Hire an Editor?

My first hour-long show took 9 Hours to edit. 9 long hours of staring at a screen.
Meticulously cutting, slicing and splicing that POS to shreds.
3: Editing is very tedious and mentally taxing, requiring hours of focused attention.
It takes practice to become efficient. After several months and over 100+ Productions,
an hour-long show now only takes 45 Minutes to an Hour and a Half to complete.
There can be any number of factors that affect the outcome of a show.
Even seasoned hosts or guests can screw up given enough pressure.

My personal philosophy is an in/out balance. For instance, you can have the best equipment, but audio processing is lacking.
In the same way, you can have bad equipment but make it sound acceptable through audio processing. - Your recordings are beyond terrible quality. I can help clean things up, but there are limitations.
