MINDSET Don’t do dropshipping. Buy a manufacture?

Been researching drop shipping throughout the forum and for obvious reason would buying a manufacture just be the best option to sell a product? Because without owning that you lack Control, not just by not being able to make the product yourself but also because if you don’t own it then the manufacturer you use for w/e product can take it out of their inventory. So basically my question is, is it better to buy a manufacture building and start creating the product there or continue to outsource the product i sell from a manufacturer until im able to purchase the building?

It depends a lot on context:
- what type of product are we talking about?
- is it validated?
- how many people are capable of manufacturing it?
- can the business grow enough to warrant the expense?

As it stands, your question can’t be answered.

Do you have a business, or is this pie-in-the-Sky talk?

As an example, I used dropshipping to validate a product, then found a printer to make it for me. Doing the printing myself doesn’t make sense.

Other people on the forum hold stock and ship it out.

I think a few have manufacturing and make their own product.
