Donation site a profitable business?

and it really inspired me and made me want to create a website where homeless people are interviewed on camera just like this and a profile is created for them where it tells how old they are where they're from etc and you can donate money to them. And on the site you can donate to specific things for them. Like you you can choose to donate money for clothing or housing or a cell phone etc.

But my question is, how can I create this site where it helps these people but is also profitable for the business?
