So I was getting a lot of fake user registrations on my site and realized akismet wasn't enough.
So last night I downloaded the plugin "stop spammers" and today my pageviews are 5x less than average.
I find it hard to believe that this could be a coincidence and Im freaking out that my traffic is 5x less than I thought it had been the whole time.
I found an interesting infographic which is attached below that says in 2013 over 60% of internet traffic is from bots.
Has anyone had a similar experience with spam plugins, and realized there traffic was a lot less than they thought?
