Should i use my own language (dutch) or use the english language in my business?
When i focus on Dutch that means my target market is smaller. If i talk in english that means that my market is much much bigger, but i have some issues with communicating in English. Il tell you later in this post.
But.. could this have to do with a growth mindset or self limiting beliefs? I say this because i have difficulty realizing whether this has to do with a fixed mindset/beliefs or that i just have better arguments for doing it in dutch.
So i am doing consulting and focus on a big and upcoming niche. I have no experience with copywriting and not really a lot with regular business and i feel that i am better at paying someone and get clients instead.
Now i am in the situation of waiting until my web designer is done with the last adjustments of my site. I just really look forward to start getting clients.
I feel like it is easier to try to get a dutch paying client first than getting an english one. This is because i am not sure if my english is good enough for ‘English consulting language’, Also i already have some copywriting in Dutch so this makes it much quicker to get the first client. I have checked out the (dutch) competition already and i think that i have created a nice value proposition for this market.
However.. Doing english is making the target market so much bigger! But it would require some self work for me and extra time before i can get a client since i have to re do a lot of work.
So the battle is between overcoming fears/mindset/beliefs and getting money..??
