Introduction:
Hi you all, nice to meet you.
This post includes some information about myself and a couple of things about my first business adventures.
Background:
Before college I served my military service and worked and lived in New Zealand and Australia.
I am a 26 year old college student from Germany. I am finishing it right now, beeing in my last semester.
Unfortunatly the college is very small and I look forward to moving to a bigger area when college is done.
"Crush It" Gary Vaynerchuk's book got me thinking about building businesses
I am currently reading MJs book and I just starting out putting things into action. The things I've read in it are like gold.
I've read other books, like,
and took my share of knowledge and mindsets from them.
I am not saying that every book is BS. You just have to find the valid points in them.
I stumbled upon the website of Tracy Tardy some days ago, and found MJs interview there. Having read a couple of recommendations from other people I was instantly hooked, and have not been disappointed so far.
I am also an avid "Dragons Den" and "Shark Tank" follower.
As business people, I admire Brett Wilson, Robert Herjavec and especially Elon Musk.
I come from a middle class background. We've never been rich or poor. But my parents always argued about money. And that is one of the points, why I don't want to be in there shoes later.
I was teached in a "poor dads" manner but I am constantly changing them to a fastlane approach.
Business Interest/Casual Interest:
I like cars and my college major is mechanical engineering . So naturally I am thinking about creating value for a mass of people using my skills in that area.
I like suspension and engine design.
In my free time in college, I work as a suspension engineer in our Formula Student Team. I am calculating, designing and building a unequal lenght A arm suspension system for our racecar.
I am a big sport fanatic as well. I've gone through a 70 days fitness program, designed by a guy in my age and will now start another program.
Travelling sure is one of my passions. Before I started studying, I lived in Australia and New Zealand for a year. It was the greatest time so far and I've noticed that in the anglo-saxon countries, the willingness to created business opportunities is way more up, than in Germany.
Goal:
I think we all have similar goals and mindsets here. Creating a sustainable business to create freedom, health and long-lasting relationships for us.
Actions right now:
Creating a brand around a product and sell it to the mass market.
I had to adjust the post, after finishing MJs book
