How does one enter the fastlane without being a creative genius ?
I feel almost all successful entrepreneurs (people who build large organisations, not those who run one man operations selling stuff on eBay etc) have a huge creative and innovative talent.
How can you succeed without it, to grab a decent market share you have to do something differently, carbon copying someone else business won't win over customers.
Uber, Snapchat, GoPro, Theranos, Airbnb, Spotify, are all extremely creative and innovative companies.
I can't fathom how those individuals came up with their ideas, simply saying they found a need and capitalised on it is a lot easier said than done.
In hindsight we can say there was going to be a big need for Facebook, twitter, touchscreen phones, underwater cameras etc but while looking forward its damn near impossible to predict what will take the world by storm in 5 years time.
Are the less creatively inclined better off pursuing wealth in avenues such as real estate, brick and mortar, various tried and trued business models rather than chasing a sunrise industry such as healthcare, technology where innovation is a prerequisite to success.
