To all the people that were and still are in business please add your comments. I was born mid 80s so i know what i have seen. To me it seems business is different because it is changing so rapidly. This is something that bothers me, i feel it makes your decisions just as important as actions now. I am sure things were always hard, maybe even harder than now, i would say starting up a company and getting clients was more difficult than now.
So if we can all agree back in the day, starting up a company and reaching out to customers was harder (cost more).
and
now you can start a biz and get customers cheaper (via internet) which means more competition, which means shorter cycles, which again means your business will not profit high margins as long as it would have back in the day.
Knowing this, what is a good strategy or something to keep in the back of your head when trying to position yourself?
Take the money and run? or invest money into a business that may be dying year by year?
