Cause i think i have one.
It's a website idea, a new type of social platform.
To keep it simple, it's a novel and public approach to collaboration among people.
I'm certain it hasn't been done because if it had been, the site would be a household name like youtube.
I have no idea what it's potential is but for some damn reason I HAVE to make it a reality.
If it takes off that would be amazing, if not at least i'll have no regrets about not trying.
Gonna have to outsource it because the core feature will need some custom programming that is not worth the time investment for me to learn.
I have no idea how much it'll cost and how much server fees and god knows what else like copyright stuff preparation but im in a money saving mindset now, but whatever ill figure it out.
I think i have a pretty good understanding of the nature of outsourcing so i will be drawing up a super detailed specification document for the website, detailing every single tiny thing.
I'm sure i'll hit a bunch of hard questions and roadblocks just making the document so that'll take some time, but it's guaranteed to make the outsourcing a way smoother process.
I'll make sure to clearly define the essential features for a basic viable product, as well as secondary features to add down the line if the website actually takes off.
Pretty excited here, posting mostly to keep myself in check.
Most of all im gonna try to have fun with it because my app stuff is already driving me crazy with all the technical stuff. It'd be great to just focus on only designing something for a change without having to delve into mind melting technical details... it's pretty refreshing.
