If you are still in the same place you where 1 year ago then you are not lazy but you don't have the right systems in your life.

Life is a big system and being aware of it is the first step to change it.

"But Felix life is so unpredictable not everything is linear like a system"

Ofc there are times where chaos is going to strike or you are going to face a unpredictable event.

But most of the things in your life is going to change when you just get the clarity of what you are doing.

So here is a stupid simple guide on how I'm creating my dream life by just adjusting and creating systems.

Step 1: Awareness Is The First Step

Being aware and having mental clarity is a difficult task in todays world where you are constantly getting distracted.

So the first system you should build is the one that give you clarity on what you are doing on your daily basis.

Say you are overweight and you want to get in shape.

Instead of buying overpriced event based fitness programs you should focus on what are your eating habits.

as an example:

- Waking up and eating 1 donut and drinking a Frappuccino
- At lunch eating at McDonalds
- Snacks when I am stressed
- Pasta every dinner

As we can see just getting the clarity of the problem can spark new ideas.

Step 2: Don't SET GOALS. Just Take ACTION

Setting goals can be stressful so don't focus on them yet.

First we need to solve one of the problems we have identified and then we tackle the next step by step.

So as a example we could try to solve the first problem: Waking up and eating 1 donut and a Frappuccino.

You could either eliminate those two directly or you could replace them.

I like the idea of intermittent fasting so I would create a new routine like this:

- Waking up and making a black coffee

Sure not everybody is going to have the same discipline but that's why replacement helps.

Instead of eliminating both things we could:
- Waking up eat a low calorie donut and drink a almond milk Frappuccino with sweetener instead of sugar.

Step 3: Tracking, Tracking, and even More Tracking.

To see if we are making any progress we always need to track the problem we are solving and it's results.

For the example above it could be our weight.

Say we where 210lbs and after one month of doing our new routine we are at 205lbs.

Just this small result can help us see if what we did worked.

It's not just important to track everything so we can see if we get any results but also because of the motivation we are getting.

Step 4: Solve The Next Problem

Now that we have solved the first problem and got our first result we can either improve it or we can tackle the next problem in our list.

and we repeat the same 4 steps over and over till we have solved any one of them.

Step 5: Now You can Make Goals

Now that we solved everything in our list and have a foundation we have the privilege to create goals.

Say you want to be 12% bodyfat so you create a action plan and use the current steps to identify the problem.

And you repeat that every time till you have the results and dream life you want.

Have a nice day!
