Hello wanted to hear your opinions on Ezines. I have wanted to start an Ezine for a while now but when I run the numbers it seems that the profit margin is very low. If you have great content and have say 20,000 subscribers how much can you really charge today for this; many of Ezines are now free. I was hoping to get $9 a month for subscribers but when you compare that to regular magazines even the top magazines are charging no more than $5 a month. It seems to me that the cost to acquire customers and have really great content doesn’t fit in these numbers. Do any of you have any knowledge of the Ezine industry or know anyone making good numbers with their Ezines? OF course these are rough numbers and ad revenue would supplement this some but what are your thoughts. Thanks to all.
