I just got hired three weeks ago to work at a super good company accepting an entry-level help desk role. My scheduled hours are from 3AM-11:30AM, and I work remote. I was super excited before starting because I graduated last year, and couldn’t find my first job for awhile. I mentally embraced the hours of the role because I need experience on my resume. During my interviews, they had asked me what hours I was okay with working and I said any, since I didn't want to limit myself from getting my first job.
However after only one week and feeling tons of side effects from my sleep schedule being messed up I can’t stand it. I keep contemplating quitting because I made more money doing Door Dash deliveries than at this job. Not to suggest that delivering food is a long term plan, but I just felt like it was better pay and hours than this job is. The job I have right now pays $15 an hour. After tax it's probably like $12. Is it bad if I quit after only 3 weeks, and start looking for other jobs asap? If anyone has any advice, thoughts, or input on my situation I’d appreciate it a ton.
