Fast , Slow or No go?

So I got hired at a new slow lane job.. approximately 16% increase, which is decent especially considering the market in the rest of the country.

The role I provide is so unique and has made such an impact on my current employer I offered to stay on 3hrs (billing) a night for approximately 15 hrs a week as a consulting gig.. They also agreed to give the consulting business a glowing testimonial.

So with both jobs, I result in an increase of 50.58%, all of this is supposed to start next week. Although the additional $$ is nice, it feels like now I'm in two slowlane jobs, and I have less time for family, rather than more time.

I am a business development professional, offering negotiation, proposal preparation, contract management, compliance, strategy etc services to companies looking to increase their market share with government and public sector agencies. I haven't been able to find a way to go fast lane, with me relatively boring day job.

Any suggestions? thoughts?
