Good morning,
I'm Daniel from Massachusetts. I read MFL about 2 years ago, and it reached me in a way Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and all the rest really haven't. It emphasized process over event explicitly, with almost step by step instructions on building your process.
I can't thank Mr DeMarco enough for giving this perspective to us!
I've spent the last two years building my business as a slow-laner, but every day DOING something to reach the perfect fast lane process. Today I'll be running my first "help wanted" ad, and beginning the actual transition towards a payroll based fastlane process. (Old fashion; I know)
Everyday I wake up knowing a little less than the day before, because I'm forever pushing out of my comfort zone, so I don't anticipate being a huge contributor. I'll mostly be lurking and learning. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll have some little nugget of wisdom that will assist a new comer in just getting out there and starting their own process.
