Im completely new to the forum so forgive me please if my questions are a bit ignorant!
I surf. Im passionate about surfing and would like to base my business ideas around resolving a problem for surfers.
So here goes...this is my idea:
1. My car has been broken into about 4 times whilst surfing. It puts a massive downer on your day as you can imagine.
What i was thinking of was providing a type of lock box for surfers to keep their valuables in whilst in the water - think ipods, wallets, phones, money etc.
The safe/box is mounted in your car in an appropriate hiding place - most probably the trunk of your car.
I plan to import the minimum amount of box/safe's from china and have it branded with my logo
set up a landing page to determine whether others would be interested in buying
Then if the need exists import a larger amount to sell online.
Thats the idea in a nutshell.
I also thought about creating a website where i can act as a bridge and get people who want to learn to surf to the surf schools located throughout the world.
Its basically just generating leads for the surf schools but my major worry is whether any surf schools would be willing to pay to have me advertise them online when they can (and do) do it themselves.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback as to whether my ideas could be fastlaned. Like i said im new to this community and hope i can gain knowledge from some of you and also contribute to the forum with my own feedback regarding failures or successes.
