Hey everybody! I am a fastlaner stuck in 1st gear. I come from a family of 9-5 slowlaners, but I am fortunate to have a father in law with a fastlane mentality. He encouraged me to read Rich Dad about 6 years ago and that caused a huge paradigm shift. I started a small power washing business, I was an expert in power washing and an amateur in business, you can guess how that ended. I then started a small property management business, I knew a lot about property management, but I was still an amateur in business, once again guess how that ended! I figured I better learn about business so I got into a franchise where I put on book and gift fairs at hospitals, the franchise model has helped me to learn a lot about business and I make decent money ( for an average American) but it is basically just a job with the benefit of better tax write offs and I HATE WHAT I DO! So for the past few months I have been reading forums, devouring podcasts and reading everything I can get my hands on. I have no idea what I want to do, but I know it needs to be fastlane! I stumbled across this forum the other day and I have been loving it! I ordered MJs book last night, along with a few of his recommendations. Time to learn so I can earn! I appreciate everyone on here who shares their knowledge and insights and I hope that someday soon I can help others as well. I appreciate all advice and constructive criticism.
