Hello everyone! First time poster but have been following the threads off and on for about a year. My name is Austin and I am 22 years old from Phoenix, AZ. I always had dreams of going to college, getting a good job and saving every penny so that I could live the "good life" in my age of retirement. I always had a passion for business but did not stumble into entrepreneurship until I had a teacher recommend Mark Cuban's book "How to Win at the Sport of Business." By the end of the book I was fired up because I finally found something that I wanted to do with my life that I felt excited about. A year later I became heavily involved with personal development, strength training and learning everything I could about business(Millionaire Fastlane being a huge influence). My proudest achievement was becoming a winner in a Young Entrepreneurs in Franchising Competition. I submitted an executive business plan and an advertisement for my business idea of an indoor carnival franchise. I then went on to create a full business plan in a college course. Fast forward to today and I am currently working a slowlane job processing loans with an Associates Degree in Business under my belt.
I am unbelievably ecstatic for this conference! When I get an opportunity to talk about entrepreneurship or business ventures, I absolutely light up. I just enter this zone where I am become completely absorbed into the conversation. I would love to do networking and create as many friendships as possible. I don't know a lot of people who share my same passion so being able to interact with like-minded individuals will be golden to me. I look forward to meeting with everyone at the conference and hearing everyone's personal stories!
