Fastlaners, what are the little things that changed in your life once you hit the Fastlane?

A few years ago, I was really overweight. Before I started the process of losing weight. And while on that long journey, there was one thing, that I enjoyed to come back to from time to time, to help me keep going.

That one thing were posts in a weight loss Subreddit titled something like “People who lost a lot of weight, what changes did you notice?” and among the obvious answers the little things that changed in people’s life really helped to paint the picture of what life could look like once I lost the weight. Things like “when before I would go outside in a t-shirt in winter, I now already need a light jacked in autumn” or “I can now see the bones in my fingers”.

I don’t know why, but these little peeks into the life of a person who has lost a significant amount of weight helped me tremendously. And not too long into my journey I started to be able to relate to many of their responses, and the more I lost, the more responses I could relate to and find others that I haven’t read about yet in my own life.

So why not start a similar thread, but regarding the Fastlane? For those on their long journey, like myself, to have something to paint a clearer and more detailed picture of what they are working towards.
