I have "how to get rich" from Felix Dennis at home. There is a part of the book I read daily. In this part there is a quote I want to share with you guys.
it goes "It's vital you choose a mountain which produces money that has your name on it. Your instict should come into play here. Everything depends, just for once, on what you feel drawn towards and what repels you.", then he says, "One thing is for sure, you must avoid the trap of going into what you think will make you money if you have empathy or feeling for what you are about to do. There's no future in that".
But he also says: "... but it cannot define you. Not anymore. You are a wild pig rooting for truffels. You are a weasel and about to rip the throat out of a rabbit. YOu are an entrepreneur. You are going to be rich, and you don't much care, within the law, how you are going to do it".
That last one is kind of the same what MJ's says: Do what you love will not make you rich. Find a problem and give it an solution. What about the first quote? How do we view that in MJ's words about 'doing what you love" and "doing what you know"?
I am curious what others has to say about this. I personally think it has to do with something you see on this forum. I see it within myself. The example is learning how to code. "Learn how to code because people on the internet are becoming biljonairs". But if coding repels you, you should not do it.
