Hi,
I'm 21 and work as a performance marketer (Google Ads) at an e-commerce company, earning $200/month. It’s not a lot, but since I live in my hometown and my country has a low cost of living, I don’t have many expenses.

I’ve been lurking on this forum since COVID, ever since I read The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco. That book shifted how I see wealth and freedom. My goal? To reach a point where money isn’t a constant worry. For that I’ll have to provide value.

What I Can Do & What I’ve Done So Far

I know my way around:
  • WordPress website creation
  • Running Google & Meta ads
Over the past year, I’ve done three marketing internships—email, social media, and performance marketing. Built a website for my sister’s clinic. Landed my first freelance client to make a website for their clinic as well through her contacts. I enjoy talking to business owners, understanding their goals, and helping them get results.

Current Clients & Projects

Client A: Helping a Wholesale Business Go Online

A friend’s family runs a wholesale business and wanted to start selling online—first by listing products on multiple e-commerce platforms, then later running ads and setting up a Shopify store.

I charged $100 for product listing (which I regret pricing so low), but I took it for the experience.
Soon, I’ll discuss a revenue-sharing deal. I’m thinking of asking for 10-15% of online sales. They might agree since their margins are good, but at the same time, Amazon already takes 15% from them. Let’s see how it goes.

Their strength? A huge inventory, great profit margins, and machines to turn raw materials into finished products on demand.

The challenge? Their branding and packaging need improvement.

They’re fully supporting me on the online side, while they handle production, delivery, and packing. Their niche includes spices, dry fruits, and festive hampers. Social media accounts will be handled by them

I will also be creating a Shopify store for them, which I will charge separately for. If I run into difficulties, I’ll outsource parts of the work to make sure it gets done right.

Clients B & C: Running Ads for an SMMA Agency

A friend who’s been freelancing for a year connected me with an SMMA agency owner. The agency outsources ad management to us. Right now, we’re running lead gen ads for one client, but we’re expecting to get 2-3 more soon. Different niches, different industries—keeps things interesting.

Where I’m At & What’s Next

Right now, I feel like I’m juggling too many things. I love being a generalist, but sometimes I wonder if I should go deep on one skill. Still figuring that out.

I know I won’t be in a job forever. The plan is to launch an e-commerce store—not just to make money, but to build something valuable, I’ll figure out along the way.

Would love to hear from others who’ve been on a similar path. Any advice or insights?
