It all starts here, what was suppose to be here a month ago (due to bank issues) is finally now getting ready to be shipped.
I spoke with the supplier this morning and he said everything is fine and dandy and should be smooth sailing from here.
I know $409 isn't a lot to start off with, but I took action ASAP once I registered on the Fast Lane and scraped up whatever free money I had to do this.
This is something I've been talking about for years! It's a branded product with my own personal logo designed by a good friend of mine.
I'm just always hearing people TALK about their brands, their next big idea, but no one ever took the initiative to make it happen.
I quit my decent paying job for this because it was sucking way too much time and energy every week. It was also a very physically demanding job so I would barely have any energy to do anything by the time I got home. Work load increased every quarter, decreasing time with friends, family, gym, hobbies and other stress relievers.
I used the little time I had left of the day after work on the Fast Lane and studying the deal.
If I was going to slave that much, it might as well be for myself. During the few weeks I had of unemployment, I used that time to plan out my branding, sales, finance/budgets, team, image, online presence etc. I went out to meet new people and personalities. Pretty much networked and networked.
For my side gig, I do camerawork such as photography and film, video editing and stuff like that. I already have goals laid out for a cool video to advertise my product.
I also just signed up at a radio station to host my own online radio show with a buddy of mine who does music. Publicity up the butt.
I currently just got a job at a grocery store as I still need a source of income and work/life balance.
My other goal is to start another website separate from my brand to sell generic items.
I can't wait!
