Finding a Distributor for Your Product

I'm at the stage right now in which I think I'm ready to start looking for distributors. Our product is now in a decent amount of local stores and we are in the works with getting them in to a few small chains. It is coming to the point where we are going to have to start traveling much further to reach new stores. This would take away valuable time needed to the things necessary to really get our product rolling. We decided that there's no possible way, with one, fairly cheap product, to pay a salesman to go around and sell for us, for it to be worth it for either him, or us.

Our next logical step would be to contact distributors. They have everything in place already. The connections. The warehousing. The shipping. The customers. Etc....
