For This Is My Creed

I'll save the fluffy business and just say this. I wrote this at the time in my life where I have never been more angry, more frustrated, and more blood thirsty. This intense range of emotions seemed to be consuming me. I didn't want to let my emotions cloud my judgement, so I found a way of harnessing my feelings, and to put them into use into my own personal creed, which will be the foundation for my upcoming website and blog.

My creed is to be taken seriously at it's most figurative sense, and literally in it's practicality. I will live my life according to this code, sort of like Bushido with an undertone of Buddhism, but I will not hesitate to step outside of it should the need arise. I will cultivate mental fortitude, and physical prowress. I will achieve.

This Is My Creed

I will not regret my actions;
I will regret those I never take

I will not know fear;
but fear shall cower in my presence

I will nourish the smartest mind;
I will sculpt the strongest body

Death is but the byproduct of a life well lived;
I will live each day as if it were my last

I will laugh in the face of insolence;
And I will crush my oppresors

I will pay no mind to the naysayers;
As I will live my life to my expectations only

I will be rich;

I will have power, but not greed;
I will have wisdom, but not arrogance

I will accomplish anything that I set my mind to...
Try and stop me. For this is my creed.

I will annihalate those who are consumed by power;
In order to protect those who have none

I will protect those that I love;
But will show no mercy towards their aggressors

I will speak on behalf of the voiceless;
I will hear on behalf of the deaf;
I will see on behalf of the blind

I will inspire the hopeless;
I will pick up the fallen

But I am not a God

For my god is formless;
It has no sex, nor colour.

My God seeks not to be learnt from the pages of a book;
Nor expressed aloud in any sermon

My God is the fertile earth upon which I stand.
My God is the brightest star on a cloudless night.
My God is the blood coursing through my veins.
My God is the air that sustains me.
My God is the highest peak.
My god is the deepest chasm.

My God is my girfriend's beating heart;
When I tell her that I love her.

I am a warrior of mind, body, and character.
I will succeed.
Try and stop me.
For this is my creed.
