I am pleased to host a federal procurement seminar on July 14 that will offer small businesses
and others an opportunity to learn the basics about contracting with the federal and state
government. I feel strongly that members of the Brooklyn community should be given the
opportunity to learn how to obtain and utilize the benefits provided by the government. This
seminar provides such an opportunity; the featured speakers will share their vast knowledge
on how to become a contractor to the government, the kinds of services the government is
seeking, and the benefits that contracting can provide to both business and government.
