The book is quite frankly amazing MJ. You just keep nodding and nodding at each section. It confirmed so many suspicions and beliefs I had.
The warning that if you do what you love you might end up hating it if you do it for the money rang so true to me. Makes complete sense.
I vaguely remember my old man saying this to me at my "age of infinite wisdom" as a pimply teenager and not heeding his advice - as you do
It was true for me - I love racing power boats and have many years of racing under me, but whenever I was racing for a team (paid or unpaid) and I had to do it their way I was always unhappy and detested the racing. My big "WHY" is finally making enough to retire early, live near the water and have my own racing team and also be one of the drivers. I'll be the Bobby Rahal of power boats
