Hey, it's Rich here.
I'm 40 and live in Sydney, Australia. My background is in software development (PHP and Ruby on Rails with some C# and Java). I've worked for tech startups, universities and telcos. About 5 years ago I discovered micro ISV's and I've been wanting to build something ever since. While I've got the technical skills to build something I've always know that building it was the easy part and I really didn't know what to do then.
A couple of years ago I became the CTO for the Funbox Media Group where I've learnt a lot about marketing. Combined with listening to many podcasts about marketing (special shout out to Startups for the Rest of Us, Foolish Adventure and Lifestyle Business Podcast) I finally started building my first SaaS app.
I'm hoping to get a lifestyle business going based around a couple of SaaS apps.
