General Fast Lane Income question

Question about the book: While I agree whole heartedly regarding the premise of the book so far I am perplexed as to the actual definition of "fast lane" income. Seems from what I can tell even working 60 hours a week for yourself isn't "fast lane" income, seems more slow lane to me. Sometimes there is much less stress working 60hrs a week for an already established business than working 60hrs for yourself and stressing about keeping it afloat. At least when you work for someone else you don't have to worry about getting customers -- that's their job. You just do yours and get a check. From what I can tell the only real "fast lane" income is investing or inventing, basically nothing that involves more than 3 days out of your week. Even spending 4 days working/slavery for 3 days off isn't a good investment in your time. Time is precious and not something you can put a price tag on. Even working for yourself is a form of self imposed slavery -- you still have to be a slave to the alarm clock....What am I missing here? Just trying to learn...... thanks!!
